Miller Family

This evening I had the adventure of photographing these two energetic little boys, one is 3 years old and the other just 18 months, and their super cool parents. I've included a couple of my favorites from the official photos along with a diptych of the 'outtakes'.

Last night we did two shoots. The first was a nice long, leisurely paced shoot of Heather in all her pregnant glory. I was able to try out some lighting setups that I've been thinking about and working on for a while now. I'm happy with the results.



The second shoot was a combination of photos of Heather's little one, Eamon, all by himself and some family portraits. This shoot was pretty much the opposite of the earlier one. Eamon had all three adults running jumping here and there. It was pretty exciting. I think the photos really reflect the energy of the shoot. Little E is such a doll.

Ender's Game

Today I had the pleasure of hanging out with Ender and his mama, Nicole. We played and talked and had our first non-family member photo shoot.

Ender has always been very good at letting me know exactly where my house is not very baby-safe. He's also very good at it in the photo studio. I knew I still had work to do on the studio. Now I have a better idea of what and how much.

We managed to get some really cute photos of the squirmy little adventurer. He was modeling a lovely little Indian outfit that was a gift from a family friend. We got some really nice photos of Ender with his mama too. As you can see, she's still as radiant as the day he was born (and I know, I've seen photographic evidence).

Hopefully we'll have a chance to do another shoot sometime soon. Perhaps Miss Imogene will join in the fun next shoot.
